5 Fav Looks: Sally LaPointe
I recently discovered Sally LaPointe on a fashion shoot a couple of weeks ago out in Amagansett. New to me, I decided to check out her show this NYFW and needless to say, I fell in love with her simple palate (you know how I feel about black and white) and interesting silhouettes paired with menswear inspired shoes (CHECK). The idea behind this season’s minimalism from Sally herself:
“Inspired by the idea of spring cleaning, this collection is about streamlining and stripping away. The joy of less creating confidence and certainty.”

"People think a soul mate is your perfect fit, and that’s what everyone wants. But a true soul mate is a mirror, the person who shows you everything that is holding you back, the person who brings you to your own attention so you can change your life."

I guess on occasion you’re going to meet people that you just know are like you in a certain way. you share something that other people have never experienced and hell you and this other person might not even realize it at first. It’s dangerous though. To meet someone like this, to find someone you really really just like you know? it’s not hard to find someone who’s aesthetically appealing or funny or popular. Those come and go like sunrises. But someone who gets you on an emotional level, someone who’s felt the shit you’ve felt for years, you can just tell the minute you meet them. And this doesn’t happen very often. which is why when it does it hurts like hell when this person doesn’t get how much you want them in your life. anyone can be sexually provocative but just keep in mind that the scariest types of people are those who you’d rather sit and talk about life for hours rather than fuck. the body is commonplace, anyone can fuck your physical being but you better be scared as hell when you meet someone who fucks your soul

Q: Do Aquarius have fear of real intimacy and love? I think they do but why is that?
